<p>The Forte is available as either a sedan or hatchback, and both versions offer three trims.</p><p>The LX sedan trim offer features such as 15-inch wheels and a trip computer, while the S trim provides a rear spoiler and LED running lights. The top sedan EX trim includes a more robust engine, LED tail lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The LX and EX trims are also available on the hatchback.</p><p>If you choose the hatchback version of the Forte, your top trim will be the SX, which provides exciting features such as dual exhaust tips and a sport tuned suspension.</p>
Engine
There are three engine options for the Kia Forte. Starting sedan versions of the 2018 Kia Forte are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The next available engine is an upgraded 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has been rated at 164 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the top hatchback Forte trim, you will have a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Although the Forte is a smaller car, it provides performance features that would feel right at home in a much larger vehicle. For example, both a six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission are available in the Forte, allowing you to choose whichever best matches your needs. There is also an available sport-tuned suspension that provides a driving experience straight off the racetrack.
Interior
<p>The cabin of the Forte allows you to get comfortable whenever you take a drive. Available leather seat trim adds a touch of luxury to this compact automobile, and there is also an available sunroof that's great on warm days. If you're concerned about getting too hot or too cold, never fear - the front seats of the Forte are available with both heating and ventilation.</p><p>Driving the Forte also means you'll be able to use advanced technology features that you can only find in a Kia, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and UVO eServices.</p>
Safety Features
<p>If you care about safety, there's almost no better compact car to drive than the 2018 Kia Forte.
